The retreat

What this week is about

We deliberately skipped the famous sunset scrum of Oia. Our base is a small guesthouse on the calm south coast, where the cliffs glow amber in the late light and the loudest thing around is the cicadas.

This is our gentlest retreat. Practices happen twice a day on a white washed terrace looking straight out to sea, and they lean slow: long holds, deep breaths, and restorative shapes with bolsters and sea air.

Afternoons are for swimming off volcanic rocks, eating grilled fish with your feet in the sand, and napping so hard you lose track of the day. You will come home with salty hair and a slower pulse.

Highlights

  • Twice daily practice on a private caldera view terrace
  • Boat day to the volcanic hot springs
  • Wine tasting at a family vineyard
  • Sunset dinner at a taverna only locals know
  • One massage and one private session included

Where you stay

A nine room cave style guesthouse carved into the cliff, with vaulted ceilings, sea view balconies and a small saltwater pool.

Day by day

A shape for the week, room to breathe inside it

Twice daily practice anchors every day. Everything else moves with the weather, the group and the moment. Consider this the honest sketch, not a contract.

Day 1

Arrival and settling in

We meet you at the port or airport, unwind with a gentle evening practice, then eat our first dinner together as the cliffs turn gold.

Day 2

Slow start

Morning flow over the water, brunch, and an afternoon of swimming and nothing else.

Day 3

Boat day

A small boat takes us to the hot springs and a swimming cove. Lunch on board. Evening restorative practice.

Day 4

Vineyard afternoon

Practice, free morning, then wine tasting among the low basket vines that make Santorini wine possible.

Day 5

Long light

A later start, a cliff path walk to a quiet chapel, and the week's big sunset dinner.

Day 6

Closing practice

Ninety gentle minutes, a long lunch, and time for one last swim before packing.

Day 7
